The technology revolution is coming for every community on earth. HHC exists to make sure no child arrives unprepared.
We believe the greatest asset any nation holds is its youth. HHC exists to ensure that children in emerging markets arrive at the future with the foundational skills to understand, question, and use the tools of a new world responsibly — through learning experiences built from their own culture, delivered in a language their parents recognise, and accessible to every family regardless of connectivity or income.
Every child deserves to arrive at the future ready.
Not just the children in well-connected homes with fast internet and parents who received the education system's full attention. Every child. The child in a low-income neighbourhood in Kingston. The child in a rural community without reliable electricity. The child whose teacher is managing fifty students and cannot catch every gap before it becomes a wall.
We built Happy Homework Club because the tools that exist were not built for these children. They were built for someone else's classroom, in someone else's culture, assuming someone else's resources. And the children who needed help most were left behind before anyone noticed.
We noticed. And we built something about it.
Happy Homework Club is an offline diagnostic learning platform for children aged 5 to 8.
Children play through curriculum-aligned missions in Mathematics, English, and Science, guided by Tom the dog scientist and Rocky the alien explorer across seven Caribbean locations — a Farm, a Parts Store, a Garage, a Water Station, a Recycle Station, a Bakery, and a Beach.
Behind the experience, our proprietary diagnostic system works silently. It tracks the specific topics each child finds difficult and delivers a plain-language report to parents in real time. Not a score. Not a grade. A specific, actionable insight: your child is finding vowel sounds difficult. Here is where to focus.
No internet connection required. No subscription. No data collected. Available on low-cost devices with a free version so no family is excluded before they begin.
Happy Homework Club was built by one person. That is not a limitation. It is the point.
Building a platform that genuinely serves Caribbean children required a founder who understood the curriculum, the culture, the constraints of low-income households, and the gap between the technology that exists and the families it was supposed to reach. That combination does not exist in a team assembled from the outside. It exists in a founder who lived it.
As a self-taught developer with ADHD who navigated an education system not built for how his brain works, the problem HHC solves is not abstract. It is personal. Every design decision, every mission, every character, every diagnostic feature was made by someone who understands from the inside what it feels like to learn differently, to be overlooked, and to need a tool that actually sees you.
HHC is published by PolyCloud Interactive, founded in Jamaica in 2018.
Happy Homework Club is available now on Amazon Kindle Fire and Android. A free version is available with no registration required.
